Ivanna was stationed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona when a car accident changed her life forever.
A spinal cord injury paralyzing her from the waist down forced her to relearn how to live.
Due to the very rugged terrain of her home in the Shetland Islands, Ivanna was unable to move
back to the supportive circle of her extended family.
For Johnny and his young family, spending time outdoors is where they want to be. For years he has
struggled to keep up with them, but now with the Zoom, Johnny is back to leading the way!
Johnny Flores was 21 years old and in the best physical shape of his life when his Humvee was hit by an
IED blast in Baghdad. He was left with limited mobility due to a shattered pelvis and a damaged sciatic
nerve. Johnny was medically retired from the Army in 2007
Curtis Follman is A FREE MIND IN MOTION. Although he received a spinal cord
injury during his service with the Marine Corps in 1982, Curtis has remained active;
teaching for 18 years, keeping up with his 7 children, and continuing his love for outdoor
sports.
Over time, however, his injury has taken its toll. He suffers from Brown’s Sequard
Syndrome a form of lateral paralysis that while leaving him ambulatory has
incrementally robbed him of more and more mobility.
